Which 2017 Volkswagen SUV is right for me?
The 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan is a compact SUV, while the 2017 Volkswagen Touareg is in the midsize SUV Class. The 2017 Tiguan model lineup saw a change in the trim levels with the addition of the Wolfsburg and Sport trims. There is also an available leather package on the Sport trim featuring Vienna leather seats, power-adjustable front seats and power-folding mirrors. Like its little brother, the VW Tiguan, the 2017 VW Touareg experienced an addition of the Wolfsburg trim level to its lineup. The new trim offers either Vienna leather two-tone seating surfaces or a fully black leather interior.
Though it’s not technically a luxury SUV, the 2017 VW Tiguan comes in eight trim levels. That means the 2017 Tiguan can be as standard or as luxurious as a buyer desires, while still staying under the Touareg’s slightly higher price tag. No matter the trim level, however, the 2017 Volkswagen Tiguan comes standard with a touchscreen sound system, a rearview camera, heated front leatherette seats, push-button start, and Bluetooth phone connectivity, all on 16-inch alloy wheels. As you know, the Tiguan is incredibly customizable, offering a leather package, panoramic sunroof and upgraded 17-,18-, or 19-inch alloy wheels.
The 2017 Volkswagen Touareg is not just an excellent SUV—it is a long standing statement of your good taste. Standard features across all of its trim levels include heated and ventilated front seats, heated back seats, and up to 64 cubic feet of cargo space. Convenience was also a design inspiration on the 2017 Touareg with standard electric rear seat release and a hands-free easy-open liftgate. The list of standard features increases with the standard Volkswagen Driver Assistance suite, including features such as park distance control, adaptive cruise control (ACC), and many more. All of this premium luxury rolls out on 18-inch alloy wheels.
